Chapter Three: The New Classroom

I arrived in front of a classroom, the number was three simple digits, 342, and it seemed that the teacher's name was Ms. Chapters. How appropriate for a third grade teacher that will want us to read... I sighed at my luck and turned my head to see two familier faces heading our direction. "At least we got the same class, right Jay," "yep, we'll need it..."

We entered the classroom, which seemed completely empty of people... counting the acception of the teacher and a boy in the corner of the classroom reading a book. He looked up from his literature to see what the commotion was and we looked at each other for a second. He had cute ice blue eyes that kinda gave me chills, in a good way... wait... did I just say cute?

Zane's P.O.V

I was quietly reading a great piece of liturature one minute and staring up at a new girl the next minute. I noticed she had hazel eyes, reminded me a bit of the ocean... I found myself blushing and I saw she was to. I quickly looked back down to my book and she looked straight ahead. "Oh my gosh... did I just... blush..."

Normal Narrater P.O.V.

"I can't believe I just did that!" I thought to myself. "I just looked at a boy for a minute and I can already feel a change in tempurature on my face." I felt Jay nug me, "I saw that." I shot up, "s-saw what? I didn't just blush at... at... oh look, a butterfly..." Jay gave me a stare, "dude, Taylor, I'm not blind." "I know that but..." Jay inturrupted me, "you know your reddining face is a dead give away right." I crossed my hands behind my back, "Alright Jay, you got me." Jay was just about to give me a big, I told you so, but the teacher told us to come here.

Our moms gave us some hugs before we spoke to the teacher, but my mom gave me a stern talking to to not start fights, and then they left. We faced the teacher as she bent down to our small height so she could speak, "hello kids. I'm Ms. Chapters and welcome to your first day of class at Ninjago Elementry. What are your names?" "I'm Jay," "and I'm Taylor," we shared. Ms. Chapters clapped her hands and stood up. "Well it's nice to meet you two. Now you see Zane over there?" The teacher asked as she pointed to the bleach blond kid I blushed at earlier, "yes," we answered. "The two seats in front of him are empty, you can sit there." We nodded to the teacher and walked over to our seats and sat down.

"Hi there Zane," Jay and I greeted. Zane looked up shyly from his book, "hello." "Hey Zane, do you know my friend likes you," Jay blurted out, earning a punch in the arm from me while both mine and Zane's faces turned pink. "Gee Jay, I'm pretty sure he wants to know that," I shot at him sternly. Jay only laughed, "we can't keep secrets from a friend, do we?" He got me there, "well... no..." Zane finally spoke up himself, "did you mention friends?" "Of course we did," we replied cheerfully. Zane smiled, "I finally have friends." "Wait, what? Did I ear that right? Finally?" I was confused. "Yes, you heard correct." "But...," I was cut of by a loud ringing noise that caught Jay and I by surprise.

"Are you harmed?" Zane asked, "no, we're fine," "the bell just caught us off guard," we assured Zane. Just then around twenty kids entered the room talking, laughing, and whatnot... but you wouldn't believe the last two boys that entered the room. "Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me," Jay whinned a bit. I turned towards Zane to see him giving the couple boys a glare too. "Hey, do you know those kids?" I asked Zane, he didn't reply right away but did, "yes I do..." "well, you know they're names?" "I'll share their names with you later Taylor, you and Jay. Class is about to begin."
